The Power Punch Salad


You just cant say no to this super pranic yogic salad!


The health benefits of sprouts make up quite an impressive list. Sprouts include the ability to improve the digestive process, boost metabolism, increase enzymatic activity, prevent anemia, aid in weight loss, lower cholesterol, reduce blood pressure, boost skin health, improve vision, and strengthen the immune system. They contain a significant amount of protein, dietary fiber, vitamin K C,A. In terms of minerals, they contain manganese, copper, zinc, magnesium, iron and calcium.


Raw horse gram is particularly rich in iron, calcium, proteins and anti-oxidants. Scientists have found that unprocessed, raw horse gram seeds have the ability to reduce high blood sugar following a meal, by slowing down carbohydrate digestion and reducing insulin resistance. Traditional medicines describe its use for asthma, bronchitis, leukoderma, urinary discharge, kidney stones, heart disease, jaundice, water retention, Rheumatism, worms, conjunctivitis and piles are also said to quail before the power of horse gram. It is also beneficial for extracting phlegm, and controlling fever and cholesterol levels.

Power Punch Salad:


Ingredients:


1/2 cup Sprouted green mung beans,

1/2 cup Sprouted Horse gram

1 Carrots,

2 Zucchini

1 Green Bell pepper

1 Avocado

Boiled corn


For Dressing :

2 Avocadoes

1 bunch coriander leaves,

1tspn coriander powder,

1/2 tspn cumin powder,

1 tbspn yogurt/butter milk

2tspn olive oil

1/2 lime

salt to taste.


Preparation:


In a large bowl, add chopped carrots, zucchini, cucumber, green bell pepper, chopped avocado, boiled corn, Horsegram and moon bean sprouts.


Dressing- In a mixer jar add 2 chopped avocadoes, coriander leaves, coriander powder , cumin powder, salt, lime, yogurt / buttermilk and olive oil. Blend them well to a smooth consistency.

Pour the delicious creamy dressing over the salad.


Great nutritious, power packed salad, super healthy and tasty salad is ready to serve.
